New Patients

Welcome to Trent Meadows Medical Practice & Stretton Medical Centre

New Patients requiring repeat prescriptions

All new patients are requested to attend a New Patient Medical at the practice, we appreciate that it may not always be possible to book this straight away, and therefore we ask all patients that are transferring from another surgery to ask their current practice for at least one months’ supply of their medication to ensure your continuity of care.

If this has not been possible please speak to our reception team as it may be necessary for one of our GP’s to make contact with you.

 In order for us to provide you with further medication we must have a repeat prescription slip containing all your details, failing that we need to see the original container of your current medication with the labelling intact that displays your details and the dates of when this was provided to you.

Opening Times

Both practices are open Monday to Friday 8.25am – 1pm & 2pm – 6pm.

Every other Tuesday we hold a late clinic from 6.30pm – 9.00pm (appointment only)

To book appointments please contact your surgery directly using the above numbers, our live system releases appointments daily and our team will offer you the next available appointment. If you wish to book a routine appointment our system will allow us to book these up to 2 weeks in advance. If you contact us requesting to see a specific GP we will look for their next available appointment, if these clinics have been booked we may ask you to call back on a specific day for the next release.

Please note the more information you can give will allow our Reception team to handle your call more effectively.

If you wish to book a telephone consultation you will be asked for a brief reason for the call, this is a requirement of our GP’s to ensure they can meet your individual needs. These calls are only 5 minutes and NOT for repeat medication which you get by the usual means.
